Web Development and Programming

I have worked on a number of computer programming and web design projects. I created a website about my grandfather, Albert Schatz, who discovered the first effective antibiotic against tuberculosis. This website is fully integrated with CSS and PHP. Users can read the text and view images of newspaper articles dating back to the 1940s. A few of my grandfather's scientific papers, a biography, and his resume are also on the site. In addition to my grandfather's website, I created and maintain websites for two nonprofit organizations and one youth group.

In 2007, I invented a new kind of keyboard – one that enables me to type faster. My mother helped me build the hardware, and I wrote the software using Mac OS X's Developer Tools. I now have a working model of the keyboard. I do almost all of my typing on it, and I have filed for a provisional patent. I am currently working with people at Haverford College to build a new and much improved version of my invention.
